How does DiamondEdge work?
We follow three steps: 1) Collect MLB Data — we pull daily matchup data, probable pitchers, confirmed lineups, recent form, stadium context, and weather signals. 2) Score the Props — our model grades props using recent performance, matchup context, park/weather factors, and research signal thresholds. 3) Surface the Best Picks — we highlight the strongest props first, with AI Analyst explanations reserved for the strongest research signals. DiamondEdge is built for informational and entertainment purposes only — no wins are promised.
Will these picks always win?
No. DiamondEdge provides sports analytics and AI-generated insights for informational and entertainment purposes only. We do not promise betting outcomes. Please bet responsibly.
Why do I see pitcher props before hitter props?
Pitcher props can appear earlier because MLB usually posts probable starting pitchers before official batting lineups. Hitter props update once confirmed MLB lineups become available.
What does “Probable Pitcher” mean?
It means the pitcher is listed as probable but has not yet been confirmed in the official game lineup. Once confirmed, the app will show a Confirmed Starter badge.
What does “Confirmed Lineup” mean?
It means the player appears in the official posted MLB lineup for that game.
How does the star rating work?
The star rating is a research signal ranking based on recent performance, matchup context, advanced stat proxies, and park/weather factors. Higher stars indicate a stronger current research signal, not a calibrated probability or a promised result.
What are Free Picks Preview picks?
Free Picks Preview shows up to 3 selected picks so users can preview the product. Full AI analysis, advanced research breakdowns, and all Best Picks are reserved for Pro users.
What is Home Run Radar?
Home Run Radar highlights Home Run props using player power trends, pitcher matchup context, stadium environment, weather, and the DiamondEdge research signal model. Full HR breakdowns are available for Pro users.
Why do some picks not have AI explanations?
AI explanations are only generated for the strongest research signals to keep the platform focused and cost-efficient.
Do you show sportsbook odds?
Live sportsbook odds are coming soon. For now, DiamondEdge focuses on MLB stats, research signal ratings, and AI-powered analysis.
How often is the data updated?
Data can be synced throughout the day. Pitcher props may appear earlier, while hitter props depend on official lineup availability.
Can I use this in every state?
Sports betting rules vary by location. Users are responsible for following their local laws and must be 21+ where applicable.
Is DiamondEdge a sportsbook?
No. DiamondEdge is not a sportsbook and does not accept wagers. It is an analytics and research platform.
How are results graded?
Every surfaced pick is graded against the final box score the next morning. Exact-line results are pushes. If a player does not play or a game is postponed, the pick is voided and is never counted as a win or a loss.
What do Projected Lineup and Pitcher Pending mean?
Projected Lineup means the official lineup has not posted yet and the card is based on recent lineup patterns. Pitcher Pending means the lineup is posted but the opposing starter is not fully confirmed. Both statuses cap at 3★ and update automatically as data confirms.
What does public beta mean?
DiamondEdge's research engine is live and grading daily. Public beta means we are polishing the experience, improving transparency, and publishing our results history before launching Pro.
Why is a section sometimes empty?
We never force a pick just to fill a section. If nothing clears the bar, the section stays empty until a real candidate is available.
