What is DiamondEdge?
DiamondEdge is an AI sports research platform for player props. Every MLB game day, and every week for NFL and college football, the model scores props on recent form, matchup, workload and role, game conditions, and lineup or availability status, gives each one an AI Hit Chance (the model's estimated chance the prop hits), and writes a plain-English explanation of why. It is a research tool, not a sportsbook.
Which sports does DiamondEdge cover?
MLB, NFL and college football research are live. NBA lines post when the regular season starts. Included with Pro.
How does DiamondEdge work?
Three steps. 1) Collect the data: the day's schedule, lineup or availability status, recent form, matchup and game conditions. 2) Rate the props: the model combines those signals into an AI Hit Chance, its estimate of how often a prop like this hits. 3) Explain and highlight: the props with the highest AI Hit Chance become Top Picks, each with a plain-English breakdown of why and the risks to watch. DiamondEdge is for informational and entertainment purposes only, and no wins are promised.
Will these picks always win?
No. DiamondEdge provides sports analytics and AI-generated research for informational and entertainment purposes only. Misses happen and are published on the Results page. Please bet responsibly.
Why do I see pitcher props before hitter props? (MLB)
Pitcher props can appear earlier because MLB usually posts probable starting pitchers before official batting lineups. Hitter props update once confirmed MLB lineups become available.
What does “Probable Pitcher” mean? (MLB)
It means the pitcher is listed as probable but has not yet been confirmed in the official game lineup. Once confirmed, the app will show a Confirmed Starter badge.
What does “Confirmed Lineup” mean? (MLB)
It means the player appears in the official posted MLB lineup for that game.
How does the AI Hit Chance work?
The AI Hit Chance is the model's estimate of how often a prop like this hits, built from recent form, matchup, workload, game conditions, and lineup or availability status, and tested on past games. It runs in bands: 75%+, 65 to 74%, 55 to 64%, 45 to 54% and under 45%. It is a chance, not a promise: even 75%+ props miss. Data confidence (High, Standard or Limited) is shown separately and tells you how much data sits behind the number.
What are Top Picks?
Top Picks are the day's highest AI Hit Chance props: 65% or more when the slate allows, 55% or more in football and on thin playoff slates. Several independent signals agree on each, and each shows its true number. Each comes with the full plain-English breakdown and the risks to watch. They are research, not guarantees.
What is the Free Preview?
The Free Preview shows a small set of rated picks, with their AI Hit Chance and plain-English breakdown, so you can see how the research reads: a set each day for MLB, and three picks a week for NFL and for college football. Free Preview picks in every live sport are graded in public on the Results page. Pro opens the full board, every Top Pick and the complete write-ups.
What is a DiamondEdge line?
A DiamondEdge line is a line DiamondEdge sets from a player's own data, such as 1.5 total bases. It is labeled as a DiamondEdge line and is not a sportsbook line. The MLB, NFL and college football boards (and NBA once its lines post) show the line the books post instead, with each book's price.
What do L5, L10 and L20 mean?
How often the player hit this line in their last 5, 10 or 20 games. "7 of 10" means the stat went past the line in 7 of the last 10 games. Green bars hit the line; gray bars missed. Past games do not decide the next one.
What is the projection, and how is it different from the line?
The projection is the model's estimate of the player's stat for this game. The line is the target the card is measured against. When the projection sits past the line in the card's direction, the numbers lean that way. Projections miss often, so read them with the hit rates.
What does data confidence mean?
How much data sits behind the rating. High: a full, stable recent sample. Standard: enough recent data for a solid read. Limited: a short or uneven sample, so weigh it lightly. It rates the data, not the pick.
What is Home Run Radar? (MLB)
Home Run Radar highlights home run research candidates using player power trends, pitcher matchup context, park and weather. Home runs are high variance, so the radar is research context, not a prediction. Full breakdowns are available with Pro.
Why do some picks not have a breakdown yet?
Plain-English breakdowns are written for rated rows once enough data is in. A row that is still waiting on a lineup or starter shows its status instead of a rushed explanation.
Do you show sportsbook odds?
Yes. The MLB, NFL and college football boards (and NBA once its lines post) show the line the books post and each book's price, labeled with each book's name, with the best price marked. Next to it you see our chance and the books' no-vig chance. Prices change fast, so check your book before you decide. Research only, 21+.

How often is the data updated?
MLB data syncs throughout the day: pitcher props may appear earlier, while hitter props depend on official lineup availability. NFL and college football boards are weekly and are rebuilt on a schedule through the week for games that have not kicked off.
When does the football board post? (NFL and college)
A new week's NFL and college football board is built Tuesday morning (11:00 UTC, 7 AM Eastern in daylight time) and rebuilt on the same schedule Wednesday through Saturday, with a second pass at 21:00 UTC Tuesday through Friday and a final pass Sunday at 14:00 UTC. Each rebuild only touches games that have not kicked off. Days whose games are over leave the board.
What happens when a football player is injured or inactive? (NFL and college)
Each rebuild picks up the latest injury designations, practice participation and depth charts, so an AI Hit Chance can move during the week as availability settles. A player ruled out before their game day drops off the board and is not graded. At kickoff a card freezes as shown; a player who then does not record a stat line is a void. In the app you can follow an NFL player and get a push when the injury report lists them as Out.
How do football voids work? (NFL and college)
A football card is void when the player did not record a stat line for that game, for example an inactive player. Voids are counted separately on Results and are never a win or a loss. A card dropped from the board before its game day, such as a player ruled out mid-week, is not graded at all.
Does Pro cover every sport?
Yes. One Pro subscription opens the full board, every Top Pick and the complete write-ups for MLB, NFL and college football. The same Pro check gates every sport, so there is nothing extra to buy for football.
Can I use this in every state?
Sports betting rules vary by location. Users are responsible for following their local laws and must be 21+ where applicable.
Is DiamondEdge a sportsbook?
No. DiamondEdge does not accept or place any wagers. Cards show the lines and prices the books post, labeled with each book's name, for research. It is a research and analytics tool.
How are results graded?
Results cover MLB, NFL and college football. MLB Free Preview picks are graded against the final box score after the game. NFL and college football free picks and Top Picks are graded the morning after each game against the same “N+” target the card showed: reaching the target is a win, and because the target is a whole number there is no push in football. The totals are published on the Results page. In MLB, a stat that lands exactly on the DiamondEdge line is a push. If a player does not play or a game is postponed, the pick is voided and is never counted as a win or a loss.
What do Projected Lineup and Pitcher Pending mean? (MLB)
Projected Lineup means the official lineup has not posted yet and the card is based on recent lineup patterns. Pitcher Pending means the lineup is posted but the opposing starter is not fully confirmed. Both statuses hold the AI Hit Chance under 65% and update automatically as data confirms.
Why is a section sometimes empty?
We never force a pick just to fill a section. If nothing clears the bar, the section stays empty until a real candidate is available.
